Product Guarantee for Sealant

At Art of Detailing, we stand behind the quality of our services and products. As part of our exterior detailing service, we apply a premium paint sealant designed to protect and enhance the appearance of your vehicle’s exterior. We are pleased to offer the following 6-Month Sealant Guarantee:

Guarantee Terms:

Duration:
The sealant applied to your vehicle during the exterior detailing service is guaranteed to last for 6 months from the date of application, under normal driving conditions and proper vehicle care.
Coverage:
This guarantee covers the durability and effectiveness of the sealant’s protection against environmental contaminants, such as water spots, bird droppings, tree sap, and light road grime, provided that the vehicle is properly maintained.
Proper Maintenance:
To ensure the longevity of the sealant, the vehicle must be washed regularly (preferably by hand) and not exposed to harsh cleaning products or abrasive washing methods that may damage the sealant layer. We recommend avoiding automatic car washes, high-pressure washers, and any chemicals that may break down the sealant.
What’s Covered:
- The sealant’s ability to protect against the elements for the guaranteed period.
- The sealant’s shine and hydrophobic properties (water beading) should remain effective for 6 months, assuming proper care.
What’s Not Covered:
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or exposure to harsh chemicals (such as industrial pollutants or aggressive cleaning agents).
- Wear and tear due to extreme environmental factors (such as extreme UV exposure, acid rain, or heavy salt exposure in coastal areas).
- Improper washing or treatment of the vehicle’s exterior that could damage or remove the sealant.
Free Reapplication Guarantee: If the sealant fails to provide its promised protection within 6 months (under normal use and care), we will reapply the sealant to your vehicle at no additional charge. To qualify for reapplication, you must:
- Complete our Warranty Form {link}
- Contact us within 7 days of noticing a decline in performance, such as a lack of water beading or visible signs of deterioration.
- The vehicle must be regularly maintained and washed according to the guidelines provided at the time of service.
Exclusions:
This guarantee does not cover physical damage to the paintwork, including but not limited to scratches, chips, or fading caused by factors outside our control (e.g., accidents, vandalism, or extreme weather events).
Transferability:
The guarantee is non-transferable and only applies to the vehicle serviced. If the vehicle changes ownership, the guarantee is void.

How to Claim:

If you believe the sealant has failed to perform within the 6-month period, please use our Warranty Form to submit your claim. Please be prepared to submit 2 photos with your warranty request. We will reach out to you within 7 days of receipt of your claim. We may arrange a follow-up inspection to assess the condition of the sealant. We aim to schedule warranty work within 10 business days of approval.
